How to use Bitelog
• (no items)

Entering one food in our food diary Pink Steamer

Example:
  1. Click on the time area you consumed the item.
  2. Write kiwi
  3. Wait for mini search results.
  4. Click on the suitable item.
  5. If quantity is other than 1, type in to the end, without units:
    Kiwi fruit, fresh (fruit without skin, medium): 2
  6. Click the Report button on left to see vitamins and other details.

Summary: Search - Click - Add quantity.

If a food is not found

  • SOLUTION 1: Enter this new food into our food data base, through the new food tab.
  • SOLUTION 2: Enter its calories directly. Type some descriptive name for the food, and add calories. For unit, cal, cals, kcal, kcals, calorie, calories all mean the same amount, 1 nutritionists calorie.
    Examples:
    fried fish 450 cal
    potato chips 300CALS
    Each item should be on its own line

You have 2 choices for diaries

You can use the simple calorie diary where one only enters ones calories of the day. Or you can use the detailed Food Diary where you can enter food names, times and food amounts. Or you can use them mixed. One day only calories, another day all details.

Using Simple Calorie Diary

  1. On the direct calorie box (Calories), please enter the total calories for the day. Example: 1550
  2. Press Save.

Using PA (Physical Activity) Section

Example:
  1. Select PA type
  2. Enter duration in minutes, without unit.
  3. Press Save.

Comments Start with *

Comments can be entered by marking them with a star (*). All text after star on that line becomes a comment.
Example:
A lot of ice cream 750 cals *I will not do it again.
